Equipment
- Undergraduate laboratory. This laboratory houses approximately 36 SunRay-terminals that connect to the Physics
or Math Department computers allowing Internet access.
- Graduate laboratory. This laboratory has twelve SunRay-terminals connected to the Physics network. It is open
to graduate students and research staff.
- Reading room The Physics department reading room has a few PC's and SunRays for general use.
- Help lab The Help Lab has a few PC's for help lab use.
- Servers. Ten Sun Servers Two Linux Servers and two Windows servers support the departmental computing network.
- Elementary lab. The freshman/sophomore lab is equipped with approximately 40 PC's, used for data analysis in
conjunction with the lab classes.
- Lecture demonstration. Four lecture rooms and several classrooms are equipped for video and data projection.
- Other facilities. In addition to the student laboratory facilities, many PC's, terminals and workstations are housed in the various research laboratories and offices.
