Grants and Fellowships
There are many possibilities to obtain funding for support of graduate student research and teaching. While TA and RA fellowships are available within the Department of Physics, it is valuable to seek outside funding for the experience in writing grant proposals or fellowship applications. Obtaining an award can give you flexibility in choosing your research topic, as well as some prestige to further your career after graduation.
- Grants.gov will help you find and apply for federal government grants. Over $400 billion is available in over 1,000 federal grant programs offered by all Federal grant making agencies.
