Assistant professor Ramón Barthelemy (far right) recently traveled to the University of Helsinki in Finland to build a new connection focused on physics education research (PER) with professor Ismo Koponen. As part of his trip, Drs. Koponen and Barthelemy met with the Fulbright Finland Foundation to discuss opportunities available to graduate students and post-doctoral scholars to travel from the USA to Finland, and vice versa, for collaboration.
The foundation was very interested in learning more about physics education and is eager for new applications for research between the USA and Finland in PER and other fields of physics. Please contact Dr. Ramón Barthelemy (email@example.com) if you are interested in learning more.
