Research Interests:

Professor Efros's research interests include the following topics of theoretical physics: theory of disordered systems with interacting electrons, theory of the insulator-metal transition, theory of electron glass, theory of hopping conduction, percolation theory, electrodynamics of photonic crystals,  theory of left-handed materials, and sociology.
