Research Interests:

Dr. Raikh's research deals with the electronic and optical properties of disordered systems.

His long--standing interests are the tunneling through localized states and two--dimensional magnetotransport in the localized regime. This includes the role of electon--electron interactions in tunneling, the role of quantum interference in inelastic transport and the structure of disorder--broadened Landau levels in two--dimensional electron gas.

Dr. Raikh's current interests are the localization properties of electronic states in the integer quantum Hall effect, propagation of light in disordered photonic crystals, and the phenomenon of random lasing.
