Programable Intensity Interferometer Correlator

Our first prototype of PIIC is a dual input unit. The signals from both inputs are 12 bits digitized at a 200MHz rate. The digitized signals are collected by an FPGA programmed to calculate their correlation. after applying a programmable delay. It also implements the phase switching technics in order to eliminate offsets and drifts. The control of the correlator is done via the serial port. The recognized commands are described here. We are developing a Tcl/Tk user interface which looks like this and can be used as a simple scope (here with two 10MHz sine waves in quadrature).
