Does ET Exist? Homework Assignments
Homework ·
You have six homework assignments to complete
(see the above Homework Links). · Print out the assignment and write in your answers on the print out. Print your name and Student ID# legibly in the space provided. Staple the papers together and hand it in. Failure to follow these rules rewards you with a non-negotiable score of 0! · Each assignment is worth 20 points. · Most questions are multiple choice. You get credit for selecting the single BEST answer even though a number of the answers might be "correct," i.e., one answer is "more correct" than any of the others! · Please note that I post solutions immediately after you turn in an HW assignment, so that you always get feedback before an exam. Therefore ... No late HW accepted for ANY reason! · You must turn in a hardcopy of your homework in class, no later than by the end of class on the scheduled due date! · You, or some designated emissary, must turn in a hard copy in class to me on the due date! Otherwise, it will not be graded. · Don't send HW via e-mail and don't place HW in my mailbox in the main physics dept. office (Rm 201 JFB). · Don't place HW in the wall containers outside my office (B5-JFB). These containers are for unclaimed, outgoing graded assignments returned to you. · You may pick up unclaimed, graded HW in the wall folders outside my office for 2 weeks following the date they were returned in class (usually 1 week following due date). After that time they will be trashed! ·
If you fail to hand in one of the 6 above scheduled assignments you
might consider doing the Make Up assignment. · The Make Up assignment is graded on a 20 - point basis. · Click on picture to link to Make-Up Assignment ---> |
