For this ideal method you need to install the free Cisco AnyConnect

location you don't need the VPN Client).
Here are the steps for installing and setting up the Cisco AnyConnect VPN

- Double click the downloaded file name in the Downloads window

Next, you need the Microsoft Remote Desktop software. If you are on a

Leave the ``Gateway'' box blank. For ``Credentials'' enter your

the Microsoft Remote Desktop window.
Once you have set up Microsoft Remote Desktop for connecting with the
lab machine, double click on the machine entry. You are now
interacting with the same window manager that runs the lab terminals.
Log in with your physics department credentials, just as you would in
the lab. To quit the session, simply log out of the system.
If you don't want the remote desktop to take over your entire screen,
you can change edit the profile from the Microsoft Remote Desktop
