Recommended Outline of the Paper

  1. Introduction: Describe the experiment and why it was important.
  2. Linear Problem: Explain how you solved the problem. Include figures showing the displacements in a few low modes.
  3. Nonlinear Problem: Explain the numerical methods you used to solve the problem. Give your version of FPUT Figure 1, taking it to a time of 48,000 instead of stopping at about 12,000 as they did.
  4. Conclusions: Discuss what your results say about thermalization in complex systems.
  5. References: List sources.
