I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Utah,
where I study particle physics beyond the Standard Model, including DARK MATTER.
My research involves the connections between theoretical particle physics, cosmology, and astrophysics.
Please have a look at my research page, where you can also find links to some of my talks.
School's out for summer! In the Fall, I'll be offering the first semester of a two semester sequence in Quantum Field Theory (QFT) as a joint venture with the University of Hawai'i. A course webpage will be up shortly on my teaching page. In the Spring, in addition to the second semester of QFT, I'll be teaching Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics (PHYS 3760). I'm also the faculty advisor for the Utah Women in Physics and Astronomy (WomPA).

The University of Utah has been selected to host a 2014 Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP), which will take place January 17-19, 2014. We look forward to welcoming undergraduate students from all over the country to the University of Utah! The application deadline will likely be sometime in October. I'll post more information as we make progress with the organization.
