I am condensed matter theorist. My main research interests are: quantum phases of strongly correlated electron systems, quantum phase transitions between them and, in general, competition between classical and quantum ordering tendencies. Such a competition is the driving force behind complicated phase diagrams of many frustrated quantum magnets - this subject constitutes my main research topic.
I am also very interested in transport properties of strongly correlated electrons, especially in low-dimensional geometries (quantum dots/wires and nanotubes).
