I am working in theoretical condensed matter physics. I am interested in quantum phases
of strongly correlated electron systems, quantum phase transitions between them and,
in general, competition between classical and quantum ordering tendencies. Such a competition
is the driving force behind complicated phase diagrams of many frustrated quantum magnets -
this constitutes one of my research topics. The other topic is also very interesting - transport
properties of strongly correlated electrons, especially in low-dimensional geometries.
