I am working in theoretical condensed matter physics. I am particularly
interested in quantum phases
of strongly correlated electron systems, quantum phase transitions between them and,
in general, competition between classical and quantum ordering tendencies. Such a competition
is the driving force behind complicated phase diagrams of many frustrated quantum magnets -
this constitutes one of my main research topics.
I am also very interested in transport
properties of strongly correlated electrons, especially in low-dimensional geometries.
