About
the above plots: (see
CLF hardware configuration for reference)
These plots are intended to show the behavior of the CLF laser over a
night of operations. Each point represents an average of 50 (20 in
2003) fixed direction vertical shots. They are plotted as a
function of the UT hour for a particular day as listed at the top of
the plots. They are updated each day after the CLF operates.
If the CLF is not run and no data generated, the no plots are
changed.
Upper Left Panel: Monitor Probe averages (E2 -
pyroelectric probe, E1 - photodiode probe)
Upper Right Panel: Normalized Ratio as stated. Checks
stability. Should be within a few percent of 1.00
Middle Left Panel: RMS, expressed as percent of mean, for each
probe and for ratio.
(the RMS of the ratio should
be smaller than that for the probes)
Middle Right Panel: Like middle left, except that vertical is
different (for catching major problems)
Lower Right Panel: Temperature of thermocouple mounted next to
laser head on optical table
Lower Left Panel: Instantaneous Wind Speed at CLF
