COURSE DESCRIPTION
General Description of Course: An introduction to the basic concepts of thermodynamics, phase diagrams, materials properties and techniques required to grow bulk single crystals.
 
PRE-REQUISITES
Introductory Chemistry and Introductory Calculus-based Physics.
 
OTHER COMMENTS
This course has not been taught in at least 14 years and has never been taught by current faculty or staff. Reconstituting it would be interesting but a huge amount of work.
