Mia Longen and Rosie Durland, two former REU students with CISER, met at the 2025 Summer meeting of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and Physics Education Research Conference (PERC).  The conference took place in Washington, DC.  from August 2-7, 2025.  Mia presented her REU work on the Thinking Quantum-ly project from Summer 2025 and Rosie presented her REU work on the Intro Physics Labs for Life Science project from Summer 2024.  Mia and Rosie are both awesome people and awesome researchers and it’s exciting they ran into each other!!!
