Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee (USAC)

What does the Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee (USAC) do?

  1. Retention, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) is the process of retaining, promoting, or granting tenure to faculty. Over the summer, USAC reviews the faculty who are up for RPT and develops a report on them through a series of interviews.
  2. USAC helps represent the student body in departmental decisions, or through events such as socials.
  3. USAC is a paid position that involves you in the Physics community here at the U!
